A Dress to Dance In

Some dresses are meant to flare and twirl, meant to be danced around the lawn. .
.
My neighbours must think I’m going stir crazy 😜 !!
.

This jersey dress has great movement.

My little exercise of matching cardis to dresses at the beginning of the season has paid off.   At the end of my “working day” grabbing an outfit-on-a-hanger is but a moment’s work but gives me pairings I hadn’t peeviously matched.
For example, this cardi’s embroidered flowers picks up the colour of this jersey dress a treat.

Have you tried creating outfits in a hanger for easy dressing?

A la perchoine,

  1. Gorgeous colour. Note to self - must buy a red dress(!)
At the end of my (non) working day now I tend to just change into my PJs. A dress & cardi combo is so much more civilised.

    1. Yes and I do admire your discipline in prepping the night before. But having done the job once this season, with about 20+ dresses I can put them in rotate.

  5. Hi, saw you were back after a three month vacation. We all need a vacation sometimes. At the end of January, I came back regularly. If, I do two a month now, I's doing good.
I love planning things on hangers. I use the ones with the clips to hold the skirt or pants too-then you can have a three piece outfit. It's especially useful when planning for blog posts too. There's always two or three combos that I wear over and over for the month and they always stay together.
You have so many more cardis than I do so I make blouse turn into them over camis.
That whole combination looks great on you and I love your swingy jersey maxi-dress. Funny, I don't have a casual red dress only a dressy one-Take care XOXO Terri

    1. Yes we need the breaks eh. Glad you had one too.
Terri, I loved hearing your process and I like thatbyouhat you use your chosen outfits several times during the month, sounds so efficient. I have those velvet hangers that have a little ledge for scarves, belts and necklaces.
      Thanks for popping in, x.
