What I Wore in October - Part Deux

Well, I did warn you!
Warn you that there might be a Part Deux October round up post.
It was a BIG month.

I seemed to have far too much overspill when compiling what-i-wore-in-october HERE that there just had to be a sequel, so let's dive right into some of the other garb I threw in my decrepit old body, then move on to other stuff, for I have more home, travel and style posts to share with you.  In fact, I have a veritable draft post mountain building up here that's reaching pressure point!

So let's crack on with it ...

You've seen this on a previous post, but it's what I wore so it's here, despite the repetition!

In recent years I resurrected a fondness for winter white jumpers and this AW19 the fondness continues.  This one is V necked and loose and pretty darn perfect for autumn, IMHO.

DUCK EGG LOVE.
It's such a feminine colour and when I found the complementary coloured belt in a charity shop recently, well those charity ladies couldn't see that belt for dust as I ran out of the shop with it!!

Another look I've probably already shown you separately was this.  An old brown suede blazer with grey, which I rather like, so that'll be around for a while.

This was a comfy outfit for a lunch or dinner, can't remember which now.  But I wore heels so I was most definitely going somewhere smartish!

Here I was doing a pose steal.  Mine.  I'll do a little piece on that painting to the left soon, as a few of you have asked about it.

My biker has been on repeatwear this autumn.  It's the colder season version of the denim jacket in my wardrobe, because it too goes with EVERYTHING, just ask 80s Madonna!!
Do you have one of these little winter workhorses too?

And let's focus a mo on colour.  It's so nice to come across a colour that makes you happy with your day, and this one does it for me.  It's a brief stop on the spectrum between cobalt blue and purple and I think it flatters older skin, so as I'm about to leap into the much older zone next week, I need to find me some more of this colour!

But until I do, I'll be happy to throw on more winter white and Leoprint because I think that's a winner for we oldies too!

Thank you for giving up a some of your valuable day to stop by and check out my Part Deux.

It would be great to hear what you've found yourself drawn to in AW19 so far.  And to hear of what colours work for you and your skin at the stage you are right now.

You know I love hearing from you.
And I reply to all comments, maybe not same day but pretty soon after, so please check back in a few days after commenting.

A la perchoine,
Mary x.

  1. I love all your outfits Mary, but I do think the winter white looks great on you, as does the cobalt blue/purple jumper. Looking forward to your post on the painting!
