I’m such a lucky girl.
I’m lucky that I had an old but luxurious “fur” collar to add to my frock coat to give the look a bit of old-school glamour.
And I’m lucky that the birthday presents keep on coming after my Big Birthday last month.
Seems that’s one of the good things about a 70th birthday.
Another is being lucky just to get there.

Good sentiments Mary, we should all count our blessings this month if we can. I've been stunned by the deaths of two people in December, both in their 50s, one in the family, and it does make you take stock and start counting your blessings. xx

Lovely outfits Mary, youve beaten me to 70 by about 10 months, not looking forward to it but hey as you say we should all count our blessings. My own mother only lived to 47 so I am very lucky indeed! Love the Zara frock coat. have a fab break (although every day is a holiday for me these days!)x

DeleteWell Lin, enjoy 70 when you get there, and like you I appreciate getting to this ripe old age as my dad sadly died at 47 too, as did his brother. My late 40s was a worrying time but me and my sibs got through that barrier.
