Icecream at Havelet

There are worse places to eat icecreams.

And there are worse things than eating TWO icecreams!!

It was a gorgeous summer's evening and The Photographer and I drove into town for a stroll ice cream.
Let's say it as it is, there was no intention to take a promenade, our intention was blatant ice cream scoffing!

My icecream eating views at Havelet Bay.

As I say, there are worse places to eat icecream.

OK, do you lurrrrvvve icecream, like me?
Your perfect cool-down in a hot day?
I hear there are some out there who aren't keen or even dislike this nectar of the gods - are you one?

A la perchoine.

  1. My husband loves ice cream me not so much partly due to dairy intolerances. Gorgeous pics of the sea and it looks perfect for ice cream eating.

    1. I hear there are some tasty dairy-free ice creams around, shame to miss out in summer eh? 😌. It was a lovely evening and perfect for a surprise treat! Have a super weekend, Christy, X.

  2. I'm not a huge fan but it could grow on me . It's not what i choose as a dessert for instance. However I admit to eating a few magnums in the office this summer with colleagues. The view wasn't anything like yours though.

  3. Normally I can take or leave ice cream but lately it's all I want! I have downed so many pints of Halo Top I'm sure their stock has skyrocketed! And thank to my sweet friend Lisa I downed an entire half gallon of Blue Bell ice cream over two days, so yeah, I'd say I'm all about the ice cream!
You are right, there are definitely worse places to enjoy a sweet cold treat!

    1. I thank St Lisa, Patron Saint of Ice Cream, for getting you to see the error of your ways! Welcome to our world. And oh how you have thrown yourself in the deep end as a rookie. 4 pints? In my dreams! Hugs, my sweet, x.

  5. Im not a big ice cream eater but when im at the beach I grab a cone and go for a walk almost every evening after dinner. Its one of my favorite things to do. I like icecream that has lots of “stuff” in it like chocolate chips, nuts, caramel, etc..

    1. Oh Lisa, that's just what I love doing - a sunny evening, a beach, an ice cream! Simple pleasures, and my choice is plain vanilla but occasionally it's lovely to scoff a sundae with all the trimmings like you describe. Thanks for popping in, hugs x.

    1. So funny, Lisa. Well, I commented to Kellyann that you are the Patron Saint of Ice Cream and she is in safe hands. Sometimes TP and I check out the ice cream on a menu then choose the rest of the meal based on how much of it we want to eat!! Hugs and happy Coneday, x

    1. Just what is there not to like about ice cream, eh?!! Living in paradise can be very expensive - housing, services, food, transport ... Oh I could go on but that would ruin the illusion!! Hugs, x.
