The Photographer's Choice!

In my previous post I invited you to guess which outfit The Photographer With Fashion Views chose for me to wear on a night out with The Sibs.

I was thrilled that some of you entered into the spirit and popped in with your votes.

Jean was close with her second choice, which was anything with the grey cardi, and then Vronni came to a similar conclusion.
I was beginning to think that the prestigious win would go to the "anything with the grey cardi".

Anna then pondered on what TPWFV's taste might be.  Anna knows the guy, she's spent time with him previously when we've done a few Blogger Away Days.  After due deliberation, Anna came up with the pink blush outfit shown at the end of the post.  Now that, was interesting, because I know him pretty well too and that's where my money would have gone.

However, Susan went straight in with her more specific Next top and cardi and she was spot-on.
For TPWFV strolled in the bedroom and pointed at the grey and white combo pic and said, quite simply "That's the one".  And The One it was.  I could not go against such conviction.

Well done, Susan.  I'm sorry I don't have a prize to send you.  I really didn't think this competition through, did I?  But this "tadaah" is dedicated to you!
Tadaah!

Here, walking to the bus stop in grey Next sleeveless crotchet-trimmed top, white Peacock crops and Woolovers grey cropped silk cotton cardi for when it got chilly later on.  Which it didn't.  The evenings have actually been balmy!

I love grey and white.  But rather than how I wore it previously, I chose this time to accessorise it with pink blush M&S wedge-heeled sandals and a little pink blush Tula cross-body bag, which I have probably had for about 20 years.  I found it recently when searching out a clutch bag to finish off my wedding outfit.  Good find, Pout!

What do you think, does the pink blush perk up the outfit?
(You can perhaps tell that I'm a blogger struggling in a Pantone Pinkisphere?  Surely next year this will revert to the soft pink or almond pink of yore?  Yore, as in when I bought the bag?)

Jewellery I changed a little too.  I added a squiggely silver necklace.

And some dangly "silver" earrings which I bought recently in a Peacocks raid for £2.50.
Yup, you heard right!

Now, the town bus was about 10 minutes late and you know what the Devil does with my idle hands, don't you?  He gets me to take a totally unnecessary amount of bad selfies.  A plethora of those bad guys.  Don't fret, I've binned most of them!

But the Devil had no part in this selfie.  I've created myself a little tradition when taking the bus into town for a night out.  I take a bus selfie.

And usually I take a sunset shot, as from our bus stop we drive down to the west coast where usually the sun is just setting  But not this time of year, for we are now close to the longest day.  So through the bus window I took this little shot of happy people on the beach, enjoying their tea or frolicking on the sand.

And in a place where normally the sun would set, here endeth today's post.

A la perchoine.

    1. So true, Jacqui, most of the time, but since the weekend I've been wearing mostly bathers (swimsuits) and dresses. What heat! I guess you're wearing pretty much the same where are. El skorchio!
