And thanks for reporting back on your on-the-spot findings. In the absence of lava soil on this island, it looks like I have to revert to plan A and schlep home a bucket of seawater in my wheelbarrow! I'll have to Google Ella. An
D you can find Havarti in M&S, Waitrose etc but it's not anywhere as good as the red-pack Havarti rounds sold in Denmark, but that doesn't stop me buying it back here. Love it.
Will check out more of your adventures!
PP.thepoutingpensionerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13484934089759704702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385292529998118275.post-12561283175013534082016-07-23T16:00:20.859+01:002016-07-23T16:00:20.859+01:00We cooked potatoes here in Tenerife today. I believe as was commented on my blog the flavour comes from the volcanic soil and salt water.

I love trying out local cuisine but at home we go back to our rut. Yet these past 5 months we have all been Deliously Ella mad. I have some blogs on our adventures on my style blog.
I am though, going to try that NZ snack and I'm going to look for Havarti cheese. I wonder if it's in Sainsbury. But I must admit this hot weather does nothing for the appetite.
Hope you've picked up some inspiration. I hope you pop back again soon.
thepoutingpensionerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13484934089759704702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385292529998118275.post-75603080552296395752016-07-22T18:21:26.927+01:002016-07-22T18:21:26.927+01:00It just all looks delicious.
