Squishing in the middle! The thing I like about the lacy bras above is that they separate, so thanks for reminding me, I've added that to the post.
Hugs, x.thepoutingpensionerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13484934089759704702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385292529998118275.post-56449450461515042952020-07-16T22:12:30.124+01:002020-07-16T22:12:30.124+01:00I started to feel that underwired where getting un...I started to feel that underwired where getting uncomfortable so bought some nonwired, but found they do not fit so nicely in the middle (dont separate) so have gone back to wired. They also tell you that you should buy new bras much more frequently than i do.!!pollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06505575770288771183noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385292529998118275.post-57796194922765512842020-07-16T09:21:37.535+01:002020-07-16T09:21:37.535+01:00Such a fun comment to read, Alysia! The uniqlo bralette sounds ideal, though for me that's a bummer as they don't ship to Guernsey.
Hugs, x.thepoutingpensionerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13484934089759704702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385292529998118275.post-64611487346604508322020-07-15T22:38:29.588+01:002020-07-15T22:38:29.588+01:00Hello, great fun to read! Early on during lockdown...Hello, great fun to read! Early on during lockdown I bought two bras from Tesco and some simple cotton knickers but have yet to wear the bras. Then recently when M and S was open I spotted a nice pack of two bras, light weight, underwired, pretty etc and got them. I am pleased with them and recommended them to a friend in my village who was wanting bras but had not yet ventured out far. She could not get them in her size. I still favour an underwire as it gives good lift. I always check the position of my 'assets' as they are quite pointy! The things we women have to deal with. In my youth whilst working in a large office in London I was once told by a very good- looking young male colleague that they were distracting him from his work! Happy days.....Alysiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08043467510191718931noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385292529998118275.post-14988647082672788502020-07-15T16:24:14.378+01:002020-07-15T16:24:14.378+01:00Oh, I so need non underwired bras! I find that by the end of the day they are chafing me; and as for the wire popping out of the top it happens all the time!

I am an F cup so bras that fit and are comfortable are not always easy to find; but I love the look of the bralets. I must stop buying my bras at Sainsburys and Primarni and buy good ones! Strangely enough I had a decent aka expensive M&S bra bought in a sale a few years ago. It was the most uncomfortable bra ever and it went in the charity shop bag!

Glad your underpinnings are nicely pinned and arrayed...

Your mention of the dreaded hospital reminded me of when I fell jumping a low wall in flips flops(!)aged 13; and was rushed off from the park where I was with my friends to the hospital. I had
13 stitches in my leg and was waiting lying on a trolley for my mum to pick me up. As she came through the cubicle curtains the first thing she said to me was 'oh my god you've disgraced me; look at the state of your feet' - they were filthy from wearing flip-flops!!
Take care
xxxVronni's Style Meanderingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17122302881528071270noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385292529998118275.post-81916815844068466732020-07-15T12:10:30.548+01:002020-07-15T12:10:30.548+01:00Ah, underpinnings. Inconsistent cup sizing, too big, too small, etc...
I have had to stop wearing bras that fasten at the back as the area where the fasteners sit cause a rash on my skin.
I have a couple of those M&S bralets for the hot weather. They are fab. For cooler days (of which we have too, too many) I now wear the Uniqlo Arism bra-tops. They are vest tops with built in cups. Brilliant. I tried the M&S equivalent but found Uniqlo more comfortable.
Great post by the way. JayCeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01373622852406554111noreply@blogger.com
