I can love what I went in for or I can regret it, haha! I am lucky I found a great hairdresser my mum and sister love and so I went to her when I donated my hair. I might still feel a bit unsure about how to style it and feel it's so short, but she did a great job and I get nothing but compliments!

Thank you so much for joining the #weekdayWearLinkUp :) The next weekday wear linkup is live on my blog, I'd love you to join!

Hope that you had a lovely Easter :)

Away From The BlueMicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06858487062882928298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385292529998118275.post-59099819788237318862019-04-22T09:20:38.255+01:002019-04-22T09:20:38.255+01:00Oh, you have hit it right on the button with this ...Oh, you have hit it right on the button with this one! I, too, am less than thrilled after each visit to the hairdresser. I have fairly thick, mid-length hair with a couple of layers towards the bottom to keep it 'swishy', and now go just twice a year to have several inches cut off and get the layers redefined (I cut my own fringe in between). I always think I blow dry it better than in the salon (well, I've been doing it since my teens and I'm now in my 60s...). I wash my hair pretty much every day, so it's always a relief to get back to normal the next day! It just doesn't look like me when the hairdresser does it, and they seem to do something weird with my fringe, lol. But, being British, of course I say 'thank you, that looks lovely!' And smile brightly... But the cut is always epic, which is the main thing as it has to last for 6 months.

Jane in London Jane in Londonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03312487908446965465noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385292529998118275.post-86174888166103580662019-04-18T07:40:17.819+01:002019-04-18T07:40:17.819+01:00There's a lot of truth in what you say, Lisa. ...There's a lot of truth in what you say, Lisa. I hate feeling trapped in the hairdressers chair too, and I usually close my eyes through to the end ( maybe that's where I'm going wrong!!). I too used to wash daily but in retirement I'm trying to keep to 3 days - and a lot of dry shampoo! Looking forward to seeing you newly coiffed locks next week,.
Hugs my sweetness lady, x.thepoutingpensionerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13484934089759704702noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3385292529998118275.post-75640868968037396232019-04-17T11:09:17.392+01:002019-04-17T11:09:17.392+01:00Well, Nancy, there's hope for us all. I have to wash my hair every day because it quickly goes rogue and looks scruffy if I don't. Hopefully the haircut on Saturday will improve things! Before this, I had to "break up" with several stylists, which was traumatizing.;-) She is good, fast, and makes me look good...what else could I ask for? I now go every 3 weeks to keep my hair in shape. I am so happy to give her a tip, and relieved that I don't have to tip an assistant for washing my hair....one of my pet peeves. Anyway, these days I am realistic; I go in expecting the result to not be to my liking and sometimes I am pleasantly surprised when it is not as bad as I was expecting. Haha.
